Carbon dioxide gas is infused into your skin to increase the flow of oxygen. Blood vessels dilate and blood circulation increases. This increase in blood circulation stimulates collagen and helps remove stagnant material within the tissue resulting in both improved elasticity and firmness.
Treatment includes a skin cleanse, enzymatic peel and massage during the infusion time.
What to expect at your appointment.
The skin is cleansed and CLINICCARE™ instant peel is applied to remove dead skin cells and clogged pores. Carboxy gel is applied with the corresponding activator mask. During activation, a mild tingling or effervescent sensation may be felt as carbon dioxide is released and initiates the biochemical reaction on the skin.
The treatment is completed with the application of either a moisturiser or a retinol day cream. A light massage may be performed during mask application to enhance comfort and product absorption.
What can I expect from Carboxytherapy?
Immediately following an initial treatment, skin looks lifted, dewy and hydrated. A little redness for a short time is not uncommon.
Carboxytherapy can improve the overall appearance of your skin and lighten dark circles under the eyes.
This is the perfect non-invasive treatment prior to any special event however best results as always improve drastically with a series of treatments.
Depending on the desired results a series of 4-8 treatments maybe required and the treatments can be conducted every 7-14 days.
Maintenance treatment is then carried out every
3-4 weeks for 50+
4-6 weeks for 40+
6-8 weeks for 20-40
Please note that other skin care treatments such as dermaplaning or skin peels need a stand down period of 1 week.
