What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is the penetration of the skin with tiny needles spaced close together on a pen-like device, causing controlled micro-trauma. This triggers a wound healing response that naturally increases the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. This is the “gold standard” treatment for building a strong and solid foundation. What to expect at your appointment.
A screening questionnaire will be completed at the time of booking, followed by an in-person consultation and treatment tailored to your individual skin needs.
The treatment begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin, followed by the application of CLINICCARE™ Instant Peel to remove dead skin cells and clear clogged pores. The skin is then sanitised, and a topical anaesthetic numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort during the procedure. Once numb, a second cleanse is performed, preparing the skin for microneedling with the Raffine device.
The Raffine Microneedling device features a 9-needle cartridge with adjustable depth, allowing precise, controlled treatment to target your unique concerns. During microneedling, CLINICCARE™ mesotherapy serums are delivered directly into the skin, containing highly active ingredients to address issues such as fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation, and loss of firmness.
Upon completion, a broad-spectrum SPF is applied, and you will be sent home with aftercare advice and a CLINICCARE™ sheet mask to enhance recovery and results that evening.
